Abstract

Narrative techniques span various creative arts, marking a significant shift in the blending of genres and the expression of modernity, often referred to as genre openness and the breaking of boundaries between forms. This shift has led to condensed expression and intensified meaning through poetic storytelling, where drama escalates within a circular structure that begins where it ends. Iraqi poets have achieved their goals by embracing difference, divergence, and deviation, venturing into a maze of visual and auditory illusions. This approach elevates the artistic qualities of poetry, while also engaging the dynamic capability of the reader’s mind to decipher visual and sensory imagery within the poetic text. This imagery relies on sensory perceptions and visual insight, allowing the reader to uncover the mysterious aspects of the poet’s intent.
