This fact confirms the importance of recognizing the role of educational and psychological preparation for university teachers of different specializations as a form of multi-curricular and interdisciplinary education. In this research, a questionnaire was presented that includes 5 questions to be answered through a triangular scale to (113) persons with postgraduate degrees who are newly appointed in the university teaching profession, as well as those who are in the process of being appointed, and in various specializations within the project of the University of Basra to develop university professors through Introducing them to intensive psychological educational courses. The questionnaire aims to identify the importance of psychological and educational curricula from the perspective of the sample members for their work as teachers at the university, as well as their importance on the cognitive and personal levels for them. The (chi-square) analysis showed that there is a highly positive viewpoint of the sample members towards these approaches. In this regard, a set of proposals and recommendations were presented.
