Abstract

The event constitutes an important side of the narrative text, playing thus a decisive role in determining its type. the narrative achievements of Waheed Ghanim, including three novels which are: Ancient Ceremonies, The Beautiful Escaping to his fate, and The princess in the Voyage of the Birds Mind, is full of events of different meanings and various connotations. The paper aims to reveal one side of the narrative structure that has its share in giving an insight into the nature of the event in this work. the paper, therefore, deals with a brief survey of the event, its exposition, and its denouement, showing the importance of relations and their role in revealing the nature of the events and patterns according to which the novelist builds the events of his novels.
