Abstract

The research aims to shed light on the stages of development of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce during the reign of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (1975-1982). King Khalid recognized the vital role that the Saudi Chambers of Commerce played in achieving economic development in the Kingdom across various commercial and industrial sectors, especially after the increase in Saudi oil revenues, which led to a rise in government spending. This encouraged the utilization of human and natural resources, leading to the advancement of Saudi society during his reign.
