Transportation by Railways and its role in development of Basrah Governmate

Abstract

Rail transport is one of the basic pillars of the national economy, as it is the only means among the various means of transport capable of bearing the greatest burden of transport obligations, both for goods and passengers between all regions, at the lowest costs.

The research deals with a study of the status of railways and their role in the development of Basra Governorate for the period (2018-2020) based on the method of objective analysis of official data and converting them into tables and graphic forms.
