Abstract

The evolution of human life in various fields has resulted in a diversity of scientific discoveries related to human interaction, including the human voice. The science of phonetics has emerged to study the physical aspects of language and provide effective solutions to language and pronunciation problems that may hinder effective communication.

Phonetics was recognized in the early 20th century as one of the branches of linguistics among comparative linguists. Modern thought and contemporary scholars have turned to it because it examines the physical aspects of language and offers solutions to many language and pronunciation problems that exist in human life and social aspects when interacting with fellow humans. Communication relies on language between two parties (sender and receiver), and this process involves correctly formulating speech and letters, whether they are spoken or written, to achieve the intended purpose of the message.

Given the importance of communication, the researchers have studied this term, aiming to understand the intellectual and artistic structure of phonetics according to its psychological and social references, which is manifested in the theatrical arts, especially in theatrical performances.
