A geographical analysis of Electrical energy in the countries of the Arab Gulf

Abstract

The Arab Gulf states have witnessed an increasing demand for electric power, as a result of the population increase and the increase in development in all areas of life. Therefore, many countries, including the Arab Gulf states, have expanded their investments to increase their ability to generate electricity to secure power supplies with electricity, and this is done through the establishment of many stations that help to increase the production capacity of electricity, so the folds of this research were touched upon the types of electricity production stations in the Gulf countries, and the production capacity of each station, as well as the factors of endemicity of electrical power production stations in the Gulf countries, and the importance of linking was clarified. The electricity between the Gulf countries, the most prominent interconnection networks, and the amount of electrical energy exchanged between the Gulf countries.
