Variation in Industrial Land Uses in the City of Abu Al-Khaseeb: A Study in Urban Geography

This research aims to analyze the variation in the spatial distribution of industrial activity in the city of Abu Al-Khaseeb for the year 2024 by tracing the development of its morphology and examining the current distribution of industrial establishments, in addition to evaluating the financial returns and economic efficiency of this activity.
The findings show that the area allocated to industrial use reached 152.39 hectares, equivalent to 9% of the total urban land uses, while the number of industrial establishments in the city reached 414. The study also shows that the financial returns of industrial activity amount to 44,450,000 weekly, 177,800,000 monthly, and 2,133,600,000 annually.
The research concludes that it is necessary to adopt development plans to regulate the spatial distribution of industries and improve their efficiency by establishing integrated industrial districts and providing financial and technical support to existing industrial establishments.
