The research titled Manifestations of Contempt in Contemporary Visual Art: An Analytical Study interprets the manifestations of contempt in contemporary artworks. The study consists of four chapters structured as follows: The first chapter includes the general framework of the research, where the researcher defined the research problem with the question: "What are the manifestations of contempt in contemporary visual art?" The importance and necessity of the study were also identified. The study aims to shed light on the manifestations of contempt in contemporary visual art. The spatial scope covers countries worldwide, while the temporal scope extends from 2014 to 2024, focusing on contemporary visual artworks produced and exhibited globally.
The second chapter contains three sections: the first section defines the concept of contempt, the second discusses the causes of contempt, and the third addresses contempt in contemporary visual art. The third chapter covers the research procedures, where the research community consisted of 30 artworks, and 3 models were selected for analysis. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical method to analyze the samples. The fourth chapter presents the research results and conclusions.
