Abstract

This study attempts to read an important phenomenon among the mystical phenomena in the poetry of Hani Abu Mustafa under the title: Life and Psychological Phenomena in the Poetry of Hani Abu Mustafa. It approaches two prominent phenomena in the poet’s work: withdrawal from life and intense feelings of anxiety and alienation, considering them as emanating from a single mystical spirit whose goal is unity with the sacred divine self. Consequently, this leads to receiving divine emanations, which results in manifestations of God’s power. This is the hope and ultimate goal of the mystic in striving against the self.
