In this research, spatial data processing and analysis were proposed to evaluate the current status of kindergartens in Al-Qurna city according to the distance criterion and the proximity or remoteness ranges of proposed kindergartens from the various street networks based on the neighborhoods of Al-Qurna city. This led to selecting the most suitable future locations according to spatial suitability models. Consequently, accurate digital maps for the year 2024 were produced, relying on modern satellite imagery after creating a database through statistical spatial processing using ArcGIS 10.2 software. The study found that the only three kindergartens in Al-Qurna city are concentrated in the old areas of Al-Qurna, while the new and emerging areas completely lack kindergartens. There is a significant shortage of these institutions, and thus an urgent need to establish new kindergartens in these areas. The spatial suitability application highlights the necessity of distributing kindergartens across all neighborhoods of the city to align with local, spatial, and population size standards.
