Abstract

The pause is considered one of the most important components that contributed to building the rhythmic structure of the Qur’anic text, and there is an inseparable connection between the intended meaning of the verse and its pause through the linguistic and phonetic harmony between them. It is a facet of the linguistic miracle in the Holy Qur’an. The pauses in the thirtieth Juz’ varied between silent and voiced, with the silent pauses being predominant. Rhetorically, they varied between symmetrical, balanced, extreme, and solitary types.
