Hyperbolic Forms and Their Implications in the Poetry Collection of Malik Al-Ashtar

Abstract

The study aims to elucidate the implications of hyperbolic forms in the poetry collection of Malik Al-Ashtar by examining the instances used by the poet in the collection. The descriptive method was used to follow the poetic verses and explain the hyperbolic forms and their implications, including both the standard and some of the exceptional usages.
