Sand dunes are one of the manifestations of the Earth's surface in desert environments, as a result of environmental factors causing their origin.

The phenomenon of sand dunes is a manifestation of desertification with an aerobic composition, so it is important to study these phenomena in The study area, because of its impact on the lands in which it spreads, and being one of the manifestations of desertification that affected the region in terms of lack of agricultural production and high salinity and other prominent manifestations, which we will address in the research and which take to expand significantly, especially the sand dunes, which are characterized by being fast-moving dunes, and this was observed during the field study in the study area, During this time, the types, shapes and sizes of the dunes scattered in the search area were identified.
