Marketed Quantity Trends for crop of tomato in the governorates of Basrah and Dhi Qar for agricultural seasons (2016 - 2017) (2017 - 2018) (2018 - 2019)

Abstract

       It was found that the average marketed quantities of the tomato crop in the governorates of Basra and Dhi Qar for the agricultural seasons (2016 - 2017) (2017 - 2018) (2018 - 2019) amounted to (343,255) tons, which represents (99.95 %) of the total quantities produced.  (343437) tons, Basra governorate accounted for the bulk of this quantity (98.03%) and the rest of Dhi Qar governorate (1.97 %).  It represented (41.74%) of the total marketed quantities of the crop, while the share of the markets of other governorates of the marketed quantities of the tomato crop from the farms of Basra and Dhi Qar (1972) was (58.25%) of the total marketed quantities.
