The 1971 Indo-Pakistani War in Light of the Iraqi Republic Newspaper

Abstract

This research sheds light on the study of the Iraqi Republic newspaper's stance on the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, which resulted in the birth and establishment of Bangladesh. Additionally, this research also focuses on understanding the extent of Western countries' influence on the continuation of the Indo-Pakistani War, especially the United States, which had a clear impact on the war and how it expressed its position towards the conflicting parties, and how it worked to pressure them to end the war
